Originating from the heart of the quintessential British council estate in the early 90s, Simon embarked on his musical journey within the UK Rave scene and quickly became captivated. His venture into music production started in 1995, utilizing Cubase on an Atari 1040ST and a couple of rudimentary synthesizers. Simon's trajectory then led him to the United States, where he left an indelible mark on the global dance music scene.

In the mid-90s, Simon played a pivotal role in introducing the harder styles of electronic dance music to the USA. He produced and released hundreds of singles on iconic labels such as Warner, Sony, Decadence, Resist, Slammin’ Vinyl, Hardcore Heaven, Ministry of Sound, Bonkers, React, and more. Amidst the Hardcore landscape, Simon pioneered his own Breakbeat Hardcore sub-genre known as "Breaks and Bass," offering a compelling precursor to today's dance floor Drum & Bass dominating the globe..

MEET THE LEGEND...

Returning to the UK in the mid-2000s, Simon assumed the role of Head of Technical for the European distribution channel at Avid & Pro Tools. It was here that he embarked on his journey as a professional audio instructor, creating and delivering operational training for Avid, Pro Tools, and Ocean Forensic Video Systems. Simon trained diverse clients, ranging from private studio production clients to various government entities, including the British Army, Tayside Police, Scotland, West Mercia Police, Armed Forces of Malta, German Bureau of Criminal Investigations, French National Police, Belgian Federal Police, Swedish National Police, Royal Moroccan Police, and Reuters UK. His responsibilities extended to designing Avid corporate stage events for public presentations and trade shows, including the prominent "Event in a Box '' audio & video education touring roadshow series in the UK. Simon hosted and presented Avid and Pro Tools product demonstrations at major trade shows like the Video Forum Conference, Broadcast Production trade show, and the IBC convention in the Netherlands and was recognized as a leader in his field.

Simon returned to the USA in 2012, transitioning to Apple and the powerful Logic Pro as a certified independent instructor. He established and developed the widely acclaimed Computer Music Workshop series in Northern California, simultaneously conducting one-on-one educational sessions that introduced hundreds of students to the world of audio production.

Today, Simon resides at the prestigious Shrine Studios in Las Vegas, collaborating with iconic artists such as KRS-One, Amy Grant, Kathy Brown, Lee Dagger, and Bonzai Caruso who collaboratively boast over 100 #1 Billboard hits, more than 200 top 10 digital releases, 21 Grammy nominations, and 9 Grammy wins.
